happy new year!

So first off: Happy New Year everybody!

I got these shorts at the UO sale after having previously tried to order them online and failing as they decided to cancel my order. I pretty much searched the whole shop to find these and although they're slightly on the larger side of life I couldn't bare to lose them after the whole palava so I got 'em. The shoes were another sale purchase but a slightly more spur of the moment type thing. I figured they would provide me with a slight variation of shoes after wearing my red ones pretty much every weekend since I got them. I say 'slight' because they are essentially the same shoe in a white with a few different minor details. I think you'll agree I did pretty well in the sales this year (I also got a skirt and a top). The bag was a Christmas present and is a replacement of the Nica one which I loved so dearly for about two years.

I'm standing outside the Royal Academy because I went to see the 'Mariko Mori Rebirth' exhibition which I enjoyed so much I am contemplating going to see again. From what I understood it was all about the death and birth of stars and was pretty weird (in a good way, I swear).
