frilly

(Topshop dress, socks and shoes, Pull & Bear jacket, Ollie & Nic bag, Les Néréides necklace)

This jacket proved to be the ideal blanket when I tested it in the freezing cold cinema and then again in the theater. This made finding a hole on the seam of the sleeve this morning even sadder. I'm hoping that if I take it to a tailor they will be able to fix it fairly cheaply because it was the last one in the shop. At least it's under the armpit so unless I decide to do any spontaneous stretching it's unnoticeable for now, although I can fit my whole hand through it.

On an almost as annoying note: I think this will be one of the last times I ever get to wear this, and most of my other casual dresses. Although I love getting taller and wish it would happen more it does mean that the majority of my dresses are now of a questionable length. But that does give me an excuse for dress shopping, which is up there in my favourite kinds of shopping.

I got this necklace for my birthday last year (March 12th so clooose ahhhh!) and I really haven't worn it very much. I tend to neglect accessorizing because I just forget. But I've been reminded just how beautiful it is and I am going to try and give it more love.
